Static Caravan part two

Last Sunday we managed to get the caravan into the field. It hasn't been levelled yet, but it is just a relief to know that it is in the field.
Once it is levelled, we still have the utilities to get organised, then it will be ready for Steve and Shona to move in.
There is a nice sized living room.
A neat little kitchen.
This is the dining area, the large table sitting upside down (for travelling) will sit between those bench seats.
The Master Bedroom.
There are two bedrooms with twin beds, but probably at least one will have the beds removed for extra storage space.

More exciting developments coming soon!!!!

Stuck and unstuck

Steven and Shona have to leave the house they have been renting from Shona's parents, because her mum and dad are moving back in! So they decided that they will either buy or build their own house and need to save up, so they have bought this static caravan/trailer/mobile home to site in the side of the house field. Unfortunately, although in theory, it should have got through into the yard, the combined length and a great big post in the way! This photo above shows how Brian and Steven had placed another post at an angle before they finally removed the offending post to get the beast through. Hedges also had to be sacrificed for the cause.
Here is what it looked like stuck in the road. It's a bit like in Winnie the Pooh, when Rabbit went out of the burrow to see the other end of Pooh when he was stuck in the hole after eating too much hunny!
and a close up!
Hurrah! Unstuck at last.
So now for stage two, the caravan is in the yard, now to get it into the field.
We managed to get it up the side of the house, not much room to spare.
Oh my goodness, a ready made patio (I don't think so, that is ours) but the end is in sight, just need some gravel to make it less of a bump down as it enters the field.

To be continued.....
